I have recently read an article that made me think for a while. It turns out, we are already reprogramming our genetic to perform better. Yes, I used the word "perform" because even when a genetic manipulation is for a disease, it makes the affected "perform" faster recovery, enhanced immune system and the introduction of technology into humanology. Generically speaking, it would be great to never get sick or need to worry about illness. On the other hand, just how far will this ride take us all. Are we going to actually create the so called "perfect human" attractive, well-mannered, well-educated athlete who composes music on their spare time? Fact is, nobody can anticipate how far or the type of recoil that can result in years after the introduction. While a "superhuman" sounds great, it is just because the influence and power that the technology has over one. Immortality was never meant to be, a life was meant to be served after life here on earth. The introduction of such technologies can be represented here: ” T cells express an artificial receptor that specifically recognizes the Leukemic cells “, explains Dr. Michael Kalos, of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. I know this can and most likely will lead to other genetic manipulations, however, just like a cell phone only time will tell of the consequence.
